Irish Hare pattern pdf with step-by-step instructions and illustrations
Approximate size of finished Hare 24” (60cm) (the Hare is the largest of our three rabbit patterns)
WHAT YOU RECEIVE:
• Full size pattern (no scaling required) with a seam allowance already added.
Just download, print and cut out the pattern.
• Detailed, easy to follow, step by step, well illustrated instructions. (over 50 illustrations)
• The pattern also includes a template that makes placing the inner ears super simple !
• A list of material required.
RECOMMENDED FABRICS
You can use any fabric to make your Hare. Be as creative as you like. The Hare in the photographs was made using our pure wool felt in natural colours: light beige. A kit with all wool felt you need will be available soon!
You will need:
sewing machine
thread
toy stuffing
scissors
safety eyes: Approx 18mm or embroidery thread.
embroidery thread for the nose and mouth
a small piece of bondaweb is also useful (but not essential) for the inner ear
Main Fabric: 1/2 yard of cotton is more than enough (a half yard is typically 46 cm
x 112cm (44” x 18“) ). If using wool felt 20cm x 240cm (8x95”)
Fabric for the accents: a small piece of fabric approx 30 cm x 25cm (12” x 10“) )
